World Bank (WB) leading specialist in the field of energy Salvador Rivera has arrived in Baku to investigate the issues relating to the development of alternative and renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan.
WB Baku Office told Trend today that Rivera will look at the potential of developing alternative and renewable energy in Azerbaijan, as well as hold several business meetings with employees of the Ministry of Industry and Energy and representatives from state owned energy companies.
Azerbaijan has been a WB member since 1992.
