Azerbaijan has imported around 34,359 vehicles in Jan.-June, versus 47,890 in the same period of 2013, the country's State Customs Committee said in its report.
During the reporting period, some 30,917 vehicles out of the total volume of imported ones, accounted for cars and motor vehicles for passenger transportation, compared to 43,186 in Jan.-June 2013, the committee said.
Azerbaijan has imported a total of 104,385 vehicles in 2013, compared to 101,255 in 2012.
Some 94,879 vehicles out of total volume of imported ones accounted for cars and motor vehicles for passenger transportation, compared to 89,652 in 2012.
Additionally, during the reporting period, the country imported about 2,765 trucks (9.04 percent of the total volume of imported vehicles), which is 8.9 percent less than in the same period of 2013.
The remaining part of the vehicles imported in Jan.-June fell to other types of vehicles.
Azerbaijan imported around 7,823 trucks in 2013, versus 9,433 in 2012.
