The relevant aspects of the international agenda, in particular the situation in Ukraine were discussed during a meeting of the Kazakh Security Council, held under the chairmanship of President Nazarbayev, the Kazakh presidential press-service said on March 18.
"Moreover, the impact of these events on Kazakhstan's economic development was considered," according to a statement.
The Kazakh president drew the Security Council members' attention to the need for taking into account the factors and trends emerging in the world politics and economy amid Ukraine's events, according to the report.
President Nazarbayev also stressed the importance of making the decisions to ensure the further economic growth and implementing the plans for the development of Kazakhstan.
