By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Russian and Kyrgyz Prime Ministers Dmitry Medvedev and Djoomart Otorbaev held a phone conversation, the press office of Kyrgyz Government reported on Aug. 7.

The parties discussed the further development of bilateral economic cooperation within the Eurasian economic integration, joint hydropower projects and cooperation in transportation, distribution and sale of natural gas in Kyrgyzstan.

Medvedev and Otorbaev also exchanged views on the activities aimed at the implementation of the Roadmap for Kyrgyzstan's joining to the Customs Union.
Moreover, the parties discussed the further contacts in the near future.

Kyrgyzstan plans to become a full-fledged member of the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus until the end of 2014, Djoomart Otorbaev earlier said
