Turkmenistan intends to purchase new passenger buses from South Korea, said the Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the CEO of Hyundai Engineering, Wee-Chul Kim, read a message from Turkmenistan's government May 19.
Earlier, Turkmenistan purchased Hyundai's New Super Aero City buses.
Moreover, the country bought Hyundai's Universe Luxury and Universe Noble buses for the domestic market.
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and South Korea has increased from $200 million to $1.9 billion in recent years, according to the data issued by the Turkmen side.
