President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree appointing Inoyatov Ulugbek Ilyasovich as public education minister of the Republic, a government official told Trend on Friday.
According to the official, Inoyatov was introduced as minister at the Ministry on Thursday.
Prior to his appointment, Ulugbek Inoyatov worked as Rector of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University.
In this post Inoyatov replaced Temir Shirinov, who has served as minister since July 2011.
According to another presidential decree, Temir Shirinov was dismissed in connection with his transfer to another job.
