Hamid Baeedinezhad, Head of Iranian team in charge of expert-level negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries said that the nuclear talks in Vienna were useful, Iran's ISNA News Agency reported on April 5.
"Discussions covered a series of technical issues," he said.
He went on to note that the sides will now present the results of the negotiations to their capitals.
The three-day technical talks wrapped up on Friday. They'll be followed by discussions between senior negotiators from Iran and the P5+1 that comprises the US, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany.
The negotiations will start in Vienna on Tuesday. The talks are aimed at reaching a final agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
An interim six-month deal reached in November called for limiting Iran's nuclear activities in return for lifting some sanctions.
