Secretary of Nanotechnology Development Secretary of Presidential Office's Science and Technology Department announced that Iran and Russia have agreed on transfer and exchange of nanotechnology, IRNA reported.

'It was decided in the nano workgroup in the third high Iran-Russia technology Cooperation that Iran would transfer nano carbon tubes to Russia and Russia will in turn export anti-corrosion coverings from Russia to Iran,' Saeed Sarkar said on Sunday.

He noted that Iran and Russia are two countries have made good progress in the field of nanotechnology, and said, 'Cooperation with Russia in the field of science and technology would benefit both countries.'

'Fortunately Iran has a favorable status in the field of advances technologies like nanotechnology, biotechnology, cognitive science and convergent technologies at an international level,' Sarkar added.
