Iran is conducting Stable Security 89 military exercises in its part of the Caspian Sea, IRNA news agency has said.
According to the Iranian Navy, anti-chemical units and the antibacterial defenses of the Iranian northern fleet are involved in exercises.
The exercises will be held in several stages: preparation for actions, implementation of planned tactical actions and a parade of naval units. One purpose of the exercise is to provide young servicemen with experience of senior officers.
