Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Thursday that the next round of nuclear negotiations between world powers and Iran can be held in November, after the sides agree on the venue, the Tehran Times reported.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Thursday that the next round of nuclear negotiations between world powers and Iran can be held in November, after the sides agree on the venue, the Tehran Times reported.

"It would be realistic to talk about organizing one in November," Ryabkov stated.

As for the place, Ryabkov noted that this will be decided later, yet he said "it will not be Moscow", MNA reported

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton who represents the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) in nuclear talks with Iran expressed hope on Monday that the negotiations would "advance very soon".

"I hope we will be able to make progress very soon," Ashton stated. "I absolutely think there is room for negotiations."

The latest round of high-level talks between Iran and the six major powers was held in Moscow on June 18 and 19.

And, the most recent meeting between Jalili and Ashton was held in Istanbul on September 18.
