Armenia's total public debt increased by 0.13 percent and stood at nearly $4.557 billion as of late June 2014, Arka news agency reported citing the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
The country's foreign debt decreased by $15.7 million during the reporting period and exceeded $3.850 billion.
The Armenian government accounted for over $3.373 billion of the country's foreign debt (a decrease by $9.5 million).
At the same time, Armenia's Central Bank accounted for nearly $477.3 million of the country's foreign debt (a decrease by $6.2 million).
Armenia's domestic debt increased by $21.7 million and stood at $706.5 million as of late June.
Around $671.7 million fell to the government bonds purchased by country residents. The government bonds in the foreign currency amounted to $26.5 million, while loans and domestic guarantees stood $6 million and $2.3 million, respectively.
