Georgian President laid the construction of a new hotel complex Ayatstsa Alta on the pass Goderdzi (Adjara) on Thursday.
Saakashvili noted that a brand new resort will be on this place in the near future.
The tourist complex will include five hotels, which will develop a complete infrastructure for tourists of all age groups, the website of Georgian President said.
The first phase of the construction will be completed in late 2013, and the new Tourist Center will work in 2014.
The construction employs 300 local residents.
