The Georgian Energy Ministry has announced a tender to prepare the feasibility study of the project of construction, ownership and operation of a hydroelectric power station on the river Bzholiskhevi in Imereti (Western Georgia).
All companies interested in participation, must submit a bid for participation and all the necessary documents to the Georgian Ministry of Energy until October 24, 2014, the Georgian Ministry of Energy told Trend Sept. 23.
The installed capacity of a new hydropower station will be 4.6 megawatt in accordance with the project. The station will annually generate 19.7 million kilowatt / hours of electricity.
The preliminary investment cost of the project is $7.8 million.
