A collision between a bus and a truck in Egypt killed at least 24 people on Tuesday, police officials and medics said.
The accident took place near the entrance to the Sinai peninsula, home to beach resorts that attract tourists and workers from the mainland, Naharnet reported.
All the dead were Egyptians, the officials said.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
Road accidents are common in Egypt, where roads are often poorly maintained and traffic regulations are laxly enforced.
