On Friday the Kirov Regional Court granted the appeal of the regional prosecutor's office for detention of Alexei Navalny and Peter Ofitserov in the courtroom, RIA Novosti reported. They were sentenced the day before on charges of embezzlement of property of Kirov regional state-run unitary enterprise Kirovles.
Thus, both convicts are subject to release on recognizance not to leave, before the entry of the sentence of Lenin District Court of Kirov into force. They were released in the courtroom.
