The rally, gathering under the slogan "Millions of breaths, one voice against terror," began late Sunday afternoon in Yenikapı Square, located in the historic peninsula on the European side of the city, BGN News reported.
High-ranking government officials were present, with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan joining the crowd in condemnation of the outlawed PKK and arguing that Turkey has no Kurdish issue.
