Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 24 / Trend / Change of chairman of Astara region's court Elnur Jabiyev and rebuke of Ismiyar Ismaili judge of Khizi region court were considered in the meeting of the Azerbaijani court-legal council on Feb. 24.
Both judges were punished for grave violations of the law and other blunders.
Disciplinary proceedings began towards two judges regarding violation of the law.
Measures on work of courts as part of Development of Justice in Azerbaijan over 2009-2013 state program realization were discussed at the meeting presided by Justice Minister Fikret Mammadov.
Such issues as rewarding of judges, their change of jobs and situation with selection for a judge position were considered at the meeting.
