Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia will hold a number of events on the 86th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev on May 8-9.
The foundation of the bust to Heydar Aliyev will be laid in national park in Rustavi. Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Namiq Aliyev and Kvemo-Kartli Governor David Kirkitadze and representatives of Azerbaijani and Georgian public will attend the founding ceremony.
Flowers will be laid to bust of Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi on May 9. Representatives of Georgian government, Tbilisi Mayor's Office and representatives of Azerbaijani business will attend the meeting.
A conference on the national leader will be held in Georgia-Azerbaijan Humanitarian University named after Heydar Aliyev in Marneuli on May 8. Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Namiq Aliyev, Georgia's Academy of Sciences' corresponding member and professor at Tbilisi University Guram Lordkipanidze, doctor of political science and professor Tamara Kiknadze and other scientific figures will participate at the conference.
