Russian government awards diploma to Trend news agency for great contribution to preserving Russian language, culture

Trend news agency has been awarded diploma signed by the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for great contribution to preserving Russian language and culture, developing single Russian language area worldwide and maintaining and strengthening humanitarian ties.

The awarding ceremony took place as a part of the World Congress of Russian Press in Luzern in Switzerland on June 18-21. World Congress of Russian Press was founded in 1998 and brings together over 70 media outlets worldwide. Five more media outlets were awarded along with Trend.

Trend agency founded in 1995 is a credible news resource in the Caspian Sea region and Asia. The agency is today recognized as an equal partner by the top world media outlets. Articles of journalists and experts of the agency are regularly published in popular publications worldwide.
