The Azebaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will visit Brussels on the 8th of December to participate in the ministerial of the Eastern partnership Initiative, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgium and the EU Emin Eyubov told Trend News.
This Ministerial meeting is the first ministerial conference in the framework of the Eastern Partnership which has multilateral and bilateral tracks, he said.
On the bilateral track, Azerbaijan is waiting for a mandate from the European Council by the end of this year to sign a new Association Agreement, to establish a free trade area and to reach a visa facilitation agreement, he added.
On the multilateral track, we are looking for the implementation of regional projects in four areas: energy, economic integration, people to people contact and democracy and good governance.
