Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (Nov. 2-9)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,221 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (Nov. 2-9). The price is 3 euro over the average for the previous week (Oct. 26-Nov. 2).

Statistic data on petrol prices are posted at European Commission official website.

The highest price - 1,405 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. The price was 1,407 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.

The lowest price was 900 euro per 1,000 liters in Romania, or 2 euro more than a week earlier.

Denmark took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,349 euro per 1,000 liters or 9 euro more than the previous week.

Germany took third place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,320 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,337 euro the previous week.

Finland took the fourth place last week with prices hitting 1,315 euro per 1,000 liters.

Portugal took the fifth place last week. The price was 1,297 euro per 1,000 liters or 8 euro more the previous week.

Prices hit 1,293 euro compared to 1,294 euro per 1,000 liters in Italy the previous week.

The price hit 1,272 euro per 1,000 liters in France last week or 8 euro more than last week. 

The price was 1,271 euro per 1,000 liters or 12 euro more in Belgium last week.

The price was 1,209 euro per 1,000 liters in the UK last week or 20 euro per 1,000 liters more than a week earlier.

Sweden held the tenth place among European countries with the highest petrol price last week.

The price hit 1,191 euro per 1,000 liters or 17 euro less last week.
