According to an order of the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, the Head of the Department of Strategic Planning, Investment and Scientific Potential of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Elchin Zeynalov was appointed to the position of the Executive Director of the State Fund for ICT.
Works towards solving legal and organizational issues of the functioning of the State Fund are currently being conducted, Zeynalov told Trend.
They are related to the legal documents mentioned in the State Fund's Statute, as well as the formation of the personnel of the Fund. After completion of the works, the Fund will begin financing IT projects spending as well as holding grant competitions.
As Zeynalov said before, the finances support "start-ups" and creative ideas that contribute to the development of the information and communication technologies of Azerbaijan.
