"Azerbaijan Pavilion la Biennale di Venezia" site was created on Heydar Aliyev Foundation's initiative.
Official inauguration of the Azerbaijani hall took place in the framework of the 55th World Fine Arts Exhibition - the Venice Biennale, May 31.
Festival, first held in 1893, attracts attention of worldwide artists to Venice once in 2 years.
The Azerbaijani hall, located at Lassay Palace related to the 15th century, is presented under the name of "Ornaments". Azerbaijan is represented by six artists - Butanay Haqverdiyev, Fakhriyya Mammadova, Farid Rasulov, Rashad Alakbarov, Sanan Alasgarov and Chingiz.
