Azerbaijan's brave soldiers greatly contributed to peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, Afghanistan's President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said at the 7th Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process Ministerial Conference in Baku Dec. 1.
"Geography has made us neighbors. Common vision, leadership, political will and relentless attention to management will turn us into partners seeking our national security and prosperity within the framework of an interdependent world. Your brave soldiers have contributed to our security to ISAF and Resolute Support Mission," he said.
Ghani further hailed Azerbaijan's decision to increase the military support to Afghanistan..
"You have shown a deep understanding of our problems. You are offering us the best form of technical assistance and I look forward to the signing of the agreement on promotion and reciprocal promotion of investments, as well as other agreements between our two countries," he noted.
