You are thinking of moving to Baku? You've been offered a good job and a good salary that will provide a comfortable lifestyle? Or maybe you are thinking of finding a job in Azerbaijan, and now you wonder what step you have to take?
Moving to Baku, Azerbaijan's capital, will be a big change for you and your family. Personally for you it may be not so much of a change, if you are used to dealing with staff and office environment.
The organization of work there may differ slightly from what you are used to, if you are of course not changing your industry. But most likely you will meet people you know, or at least, the work will be familiar to you.
In any case, chances are that as an expatriate in Azerbaijan you will fare well and you should be able to enjoy not only Baku, you will have the opportunity to travel outside the city and see some of the amazing countryside.
When you go house hunting, it is a good idea to have a local person, who will accompany you. And when you find a place you like, have an Azerbaijani friend or colleague ask the landlord what the rent is. Thus you will be able to easily agree with the landlord, and if necessary, you will be provided a discount.

Thus, Baku gets 10 out of 10 for safety, cost of living and entertainment. The rest of the services, such as transportation, housing, communication, health services, ecology and state of roads are also at a very high level.
