Azerbaijan has created excellent conditions for sports, British gymnast Kelly Simm.
She said that the first European Games are very important to her.
"While participating in these games, I gain great experience," she told Trend June 15.
"We have trained at the National Gymnastics Arena today," she said. "It is very large and it is equipped with the most modern equipment."
Simm is very pleased with the conditions created for the athletes.
"Excellent conditions have been created in the village of athletes," she said.
This is Simm's first visit to Azerbaijan.
"I have not expected this country to be so beautiful," she said. "I like Azerbaijan. "People are hospitable. Perhaps, after the competitions, we will walk in Baku and taste the national dishes of Azerbaijan."
The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and will last till June 28.
There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
