Azerbaijani Consul General to Dubai, Parviz Ismailzade has met with the chairman of the Dubai International Airport, the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, the head of the Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the sphere of aviation, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said on Sept.17.
The two sides also exchanged views on the further development of the relations.
Azerbaijan's consul general talked about the new air terminal complex in Baku.
Al Maktoum, for his part, shared his memories of the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Dubai on Nov.20-21, 2006.
