Romania is interested in developing the transport co-operation with Azerbaijan, said the Romanian ambassador, Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, the embassy of Romania in Azerbaijan told Trend.
Ciobanu also visited Baku International Sea Trade Port and also held a meeting with Director General of Baku International Sea Trade Port, Taleh Ziyadov.
During the meeting Ciobanu was given in-depth information on the prospects of development of Baku International Sea Trade Port.
Ziyadov also mentioned at the meeting that Azerbaijan will become an important transportation hub.
Ciobanu also further highlighted the opportunities created by the project of the transport corridor between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea for boosting the exchange of goods and increasing the volume of trade.
