Currently, the executive committee of the bank consists of nine people: executive director Khalid Ahadov, board member, finance director, first deputy executive director, senior financial manager Emin Rasulzade, director of administration and business support Vadim Gadirov, director of the management of distressed consumer loans Araz Kerimov, board member, director of risk management, chief administrator for risks Azad Gasimov, director of operations Yalcin Taryverdiyev, director of retail banking services Taleh Tahirli, director of technologies Asif Nazarov, head of corporate services department Majid Mammadov.
Unibank was established on October 15, 2002 as a result of the merger of two private commercial banks in Azerbaijan - MBANK and PROMTEXBANK.
The bank's share capital is as follows: Eldar Garibov (68.3384 percent), Zemfira Jafarova (5.5 percent), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (15.1515 percent), German Investment Corporation (8.3333 percent), the minority shareholders ( 2.6768 percent).
