Trend:
EY Azerbaijan organised its first working breakfast of the year on the amendments in tax legislation and regulations. The first in the series of ‘tax breakfasts’, held regularly by EY Azerbaijan Tax and Legal team, was attended by governmental agencies, as well as existing and potential clients.
EY Azerbaijan updated the participants on the latest developments in tax code reforms and described the recent measures undertaken to enforce the amendments. Arzu Hajiyeva, Partner, EY Azerbaijan Tax and Legal, was the key speaker during the event.
She said: “We were very happy to see that our clients and friends take great interest in the upcoming changes. We had a very lively discussion on the changes and shared a number of interesting points related to the changes. Around 150 people participated in our seminar this year, which shows that taxes are indeed becoming a key point on the business agenda in Azerbaijan!”
The EY tax breakfasts have become a popular platform for business leaders in Azerbaijan to exchange views and expertise and tax and regulatory issues.
