An agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of migration is expected to be signed in the near future, and making amendments to the agreement on mutual visa-free entry and exit of Azerbaijani citizens are also planned, Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said, Trend reports.

Shahbazov was speaking at the 16th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The minister noted that in accordance with the project, Azerbaijani citizens can stay without registration in Kazakhstan for 30 days; after this period expires, they must register and then they will receive the right to stay in Kazakhstan for another 60 days.
