BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Number of houses purchased by Azerbaijani citizens in Turkey in April 2022 grew, the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
According to the directorate, this figure reached 156, up by 25 on annual basis.
Azerbaijani citizens purchased 382 houses in Turkey from January through April this year, which is 71 less than in the same period of 2021.
The total number of houses sold in Turkey in April 2022 rose by 38.8 percent compared to April of last year, amounting to 133,058 houses.
Foreigners purchased 6,447 houses in Turkey during the reporting month.
Azerbaijani citizens purchased 1,517 houses in Turkey in 2021, which is 238 more than in 2020.
