BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. The active phase of strategic agreement between Azerbaijan and UK will begin in January 2024, Bridge Group of Companies' executive director Farid Iskandarov told Trend.
"Today we have signed an exclusive strategic agreement with Concrete Canvas Limited from the UK. This agreement will help us provide services in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure projects, as well as water storage and water loss control. United Congress, along with our local expertise, will provide innovative solutions in combating water loss and storing these reserves. This is a key issue for Azerbaijan because water resources are one of our most important, most valuable resources. This cooperation, I think, will be fruitful due to the development of the economy, storage of our valuable reserves and resources," he noted.
According to him, the team of companies started working together three months ago.
"The active phase is planned from January 2024. We have already started cooperation, more precisely presentations, demonstrations, various shows for the largest commercial organizations and state institutions in Azerbaijan," he added.
Within the framework of the VI session of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland on December 7, an exclusive strategic agreement was signed between Azerbaijan's Bridge Group of Companies and the British Concrete Canvas Limited company.
