Letter of Azerbaijani Soldier in Armenian Captivity Said His Health Condition Normal

Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 October/ Trend , corr K. Zarbaliyeva/ The letter of the soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces in Armenian captivity said that his health condition was normal.

Hasanov Rafiq Rahman oglu, 19, was taken captive by the Armenian military men on 8 October.

Rahman Hasanov, father of the captive said to Trend that his son's letter was delivered to his family by International Red Cross Committee (IRCC). "I am fine. Do not worry. Everything is OK" the letter read.

He said as his son can not write, representatives of Red Cross Committee wrote the letter on behalf of him. Hasanov did not write about conditions in which he was taken captive.

The family of Hasanov wrote a letter to their son and handed it to IRCC to deliver it to him.

Representatives of the Red Cross Committee in Armenia have visited the captive twice. The treatment and the conditions in which he is held a captive conform to international standards, a letter said. State Commission on Hostages, POWs and Missing People said measures are taken to release the captive.
