Azerbaijani Parliamentarian and Azerbaijani Representative at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Ganira Pashayeva made an Armenian official fell silent by her evidences during the discussions of "Armenian Genocide" on "Political Arena" telecast aired by the Turkish Show TV channel.
The telecast also focused on U.S. President Barack Obama's assessment of "Armenian Genocide" as a great tragedy. Armenian Research Fellow Kharutyun Filyan said his country was dissatisfied with this statement.
Pashayeva said it was repeatedly proposed to organize investigation of "genocide" by historians. Armenians deliberately do not agree with this proposal, she said.
The Armenian representative became flustered before the Azerbaijani parliamentarian's questions on this matter. Representatives of the Turkish intelligentsia who attended this telecast also expressed their opinion on this issue. The fact that there are million of refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan and over 4,000 of the captivated Azerbaijani citizen were proved with evidences and submitted to Armenian representatives.
