Commemoration ceremony dedicated to 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide, organized by the Azerbaijan Society for Cultural Relations with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy was held in Sette Fontane theater of Milan on February 26, the embassy told Trend.
The event was attended mainly by representatives of the Italian public, as well as staff of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Italy and the representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities living in Italy - about 170 people.
Artistic director of the dance group Candella Culiya Murcano gave detailed information about the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and on one of the worst pages of this conflict - the Khojaly genocide.
Then the performance of the dance group Candella devoted to Khojaly genocide was shown.
Video materials related to the Khojaly tragedy were also shown at the event.
