Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend Z.Ibrahimkhalilova / Armenia is unwilling to return the Azerbaijani military captive Samir Mammadov to Azerbaijan, Samir Mammadov's uncle Vidadi Mammadov said.
This conclusion was drawn after intensive tracking of all the news of the negotiations process. According to him, active work is being carried out to return the Azerbaijani soldier to Azerbaijan whilst at the same time, the State Commission for Captives, Prisoners and Missing People of Azerbaijan have stated that they have no information on Armenia's refusal to return Samir Mammadov.
Samir Mammadov was serving on the borderline between Gazakh district of Azerbaijan and Ijivan district of Armenia and was taken prisoner on 23 December 2006.
