Karabakh Liberation Organization Calls on International Community to Condemn Armenia

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Karabakh Liberation Organization of Azerbaijan (KLO) sent an appeal to the UN Security Council, Organization of the Islamic Conference, PACE, parliaments of the world. The document speaks of the genocide committed by the Armenian terrorist organizations against the Azerbaijanis in 1918. The document says that as a result, 15.000 people were killed in Baku, more than 8.000 in Shamakhi, nearly 3.000 in Guba, 8.000 in Zangazur and thousands of the Azerbaijanis in other regions and cities. On 13 August 1918 the Government of Armenia recognized under the pressure of the international community that in the first half of 1918, 400.000 Azerbaijanis were killed in Caucasus, 120.000 Georgians, 22.000 Lezghins, 15.000 Kurds. Armenian Government promised that the offenders will be punished. However, Armenia did not keep its promise and continued its terrorist activities in 1948-1953 and 1988.

KLO calls on the international community to condemn the Government of Armenia and take concrete measures to punish the aggressive country.

KLO was created on 28 January 2000 to organize public fight to release Nagorno-Karabakh from the Armenian occupants.
