As a result of mudflow in Agstafa region, one person died but two people injured. Agstafa region is situated in the west of Azerbaijan (420 kilometers from Baku).

As a result of mudflow in Agstafa region, one person died but two people injured. Agstafa region is situated in the west of Azerbaijan (420 kilometers from Baku).

As a result of heavy rain in the region on August 3, 62-year old Yolchuyeva Sugra living in Dagkesemen village of Agstafa region was taken away by mudflow, prosecutor of Agstafa region, Mubariz Najafov, told Trend on August 4.

Prosecutor said that Yolchuyeva's yard was flooded and she was found dead in Gazakh city. People living in the same village, Arabov Vasil Elviz oglu (20) and Arabov Murad Vasil oglu (40) were injured and taken to the central hospital. Najafov said that these people were injured as a result of wall fall.   

As a result of heavy rains, the region was greatly damaged. Dagkesemen village was partially flooded. At present, damage made as a result of disaster is being liquidated.
