Turkey has paid off the compensation worth 2.4 million Turkish lira to the family of British citizen, Helyn Bennetty, who died during a terrorism attack in the Gush island in 2005, the Turkish Cihan news agency reported.
Although after Bennetty's death, his family applied to the international organizations to receive compensation from Turkey, the Turkish government agreed to pay off the compensation four years after the incident, the news agency reported.
