Fire occurred at an oil refinery in Baku's Nizami district.
According to Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry's website, oil residues in the tank with the amount of 3,000 cubic meters burned at the refinery.
The fire was extinguished to avoid spread of flame to nearby shops and tanks. The fire was extinguished at 11:58 (Baku time).
According to preliminary version, the fire occurred as a result of violation of fire safety guidelines during welding operations.
