The Emergency Situations Ministry's rescuers saved nine people during a natural disaster in the Ismayilli region.
The Emergency Situations Ministry received information about helpless people in a car trying to cross the river, and at a nearby private farm as a result of rise in water levels in the river running through territory of the Ismayilli village, the Emergency Situations Ministry's website reported.
After studying the situation, rescuers immediately arrived in the scene, and it was found that four people are in the car and five people at the farm. The rescuers have saved these people observing safety requirements and using special equipment.
As a result of torrential rains, which began yesterday in the region, the water flooded several villages.
