An earthquake took place in the Caspian Sea on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea at 19:29 on Dec. 18, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' Republican Seismological Service told Trend.
The earthquake, which took in the central part of Caspian Sea, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, was recorded in 60 km depth.
The tremors were not felt.
