An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted Iranian Mazandaran Province's four cities - Salman Shahr, Noushahr, Chalus and Kelardasht cities, Iranian television news website reported.
According to the Seismological Center at the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, the first earthquake took place at 01:49 (local time) this night, while the second took place at 02:09.
No damage and injured is reported as a result of the earthquake.
