A dry cargo ship sank off the Turkish coast, TRT Haber TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Twelve crew members went missing as a result of the incident. It is reported that the dry cargo ship transporting coal sank near Istanbul.
Belonging of the ship and crew members is not reported yet.
Also, according to the TV channel, another dry cargo ship is drifting off the coast of Istanbul.
All sea crossings were cancelled because of the strong southwesterly winds in Istanbul, Turkish DHA news agency reported on Tuesday.
Forecasters warn that the unstable weather will continue this week.
