The Rikoti tunnel connecting the western and eastern Georgia was closed for electrical repair work from Jan.18 to 30.
According to the Roads Department, in this regard, traffic movement on the tunnel will be closed from 20:00 on Jan.18 to 08:00 on Jan.30.
All vehicles will have to use the bypass road during this period.
In case of deterioration of the weather conditions, the electrical repair work will be temporarily suspended and the tunnel will open.
