An earthquake measuring 4.4 points hit the Iranian province of Hormozgan on June 5, Iranian news agency İSNA informed on Wednesday.
The earthquake occurred at 10:04 am local time, according to the Seismological Center under the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.
According to the report, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of eight kilometers.
No information has been reported with regards to injuries and damage caused.
