An underwater earthquake hit the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) said on July 24.
The earthquake was recorded at 00:38 local time (GMT+5) on July 24, 43 kilometers to northeast of Azerbaijan's Nardaran settlement, according to the Seismological Service Center.
Tremors were not felt.
