An Azerbaijani holding a Georgian citizen died at the check point �Red Bridge’ in the Georgian-Azerbaijani border on Thursday, caused clashes between the Azerbaijani residents of Georgia and customs officials, Trend reports referring to Kavkaz-Press agency.
Eyvaz Nuriyev became a victim of the arbitrariness of the Georgian customs officials, who did not want to legalize his cargo demanding extra payment, the witnesses said. He had a heart attack as a result of argue and died.
Meanwhile the citizens, who gathered at the check point, insisted that they have to stay 3-5 days in the customs places to pass the appropriate procedures.
The customs officials said that Nuriyev was not subjected to any offence or physical pressure; he died as a result of heart attack. The doctors of the emergency confirmed this statement.
