Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The chairman of the 'Our Azerbaijan' bloc, the head of the Turkic National Party, Vugar Beyturan, opposes Azadlig bloc's attitude towards opposition parties.

The deputy chairman of the Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA) represented in the Azadlig bloc, Avaz Temirkhan, sees no necessity in unification of all opposition parties, excluding the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) and the Musavat party. Liberals are ready for negotiations with these two parties.

According to Beyturan, views of the LPA are not objective and they contradict to national interests and the unity of the opposition. The decision of the 'Our Azerbaijan', 'New Policy', and ' Union for Democracy' not to joint the talks on merging of the opposition is far from sincere intentions. "All leaders, and first of all Avaz Temirkhan, should do their best for unification of the opposition. Otherwise, the opposition will lose the elections as it was in 2003 and 2005," Beyturan said.

The opposition 'Our Azerbaijan' bloc includes eight parties.
